For the first time I leveraged an out off stock item to get a "comparable substitute" at the same price. I was excited since I got the better brand for the less expensive price!

I'm rather new at couponing but I have learned to plan my meals around what is on sale w/coupons and stockpiling has made a huge difference in our family budget.

Thank you for this great give away!

Publix grocery store allows you to use coupons with their coupons in their flier. I ended up getting 2 cover girl products for less than half the price of one!

I save money by watching my cashier and checking my receipt. Two times in the past week high dollar coupon amounts haven't been taken off properly. $8 worth at Kroger and $4 at Walmart...that's $12 I wouldn't have saved if I hadn't paid attention! Big money for us coupon ladies, right?

I saved money by hitting the after-Christmas sales. I was able to pick up some nice chocolates to give as hostess gifts at the parties I had between Christmas and New Year's.

finally had the opportunity to show hubs last night what my couponing is all about -- he liked it! He took me to King Kullen for double coupons, then we finished up at western beef. We spent $130 total with $30 savings..he likes this idea and what's me to further it...so, hence me entering, I definitly need this win!

At Shaw's, for every $30 you spent on certain items you got $15 off your next order so I got $60 worth of items. Fifty dollars worth of those items qualified me for the $120 coupon booklet from P&G. So basically I just made $90. Thanks for the chance.

I am saving money by switching to mostly store brands. I can usually get them cheaper then name brand even with a coupon. I keep a list of all prices for items we buy so I can get it at the cheapest store.

Yesterday I took my husband and baby shopping and we purchased $48 worth of necessary items at Target for $30 using the Target coupons (they recently sent out another booklet) and manufacturer coupons, plus we went for items already on sale when we could- like their Pampers jumbo packs of diapers!

I save money by subscribing by email to my favorite stores' sites, they will sometimes email you coupons. I only use these coupons if there is something I need. Of course, I use as many manufacturer's coupons as I can when food shopping to save money.

So, recently I have embraced being a little housewife to-be (June 7, yay!). I've began learning how to cook proper meals through much trial and error, laughs, burnt food, and smoky kitchens. Doing so has cut down on us purchasing quick meals, and it's saved us lots of money!

My most recent score using coupons happened completely by chance. I was at Target just to take advantage of the holiday clearance. I walked past toothpaste on an endcap on clearance for $2.15. I had 3 $1 off coupons and and 3s $1 off Target coupons. I end up with three tubes of toothpaste for less than $ .50!!

I was so glad that I had my coupons on me!

Cheryl@myactv.net Hi- I am saving money in a variety of ways, I think my most profitable is cooking from scratch. With smart planning I am saving a lot of money. I use coupons doubled with planning meals around what is on sale and not being loyal to any one particular store, but going where the bulk of the items I need is on sale along with store club savings and coupons. My girlfriend and I are also exchanging coupons.

My funnest experience in couponing so far has been filling christmas stockings for as cheep as possible. This year I was able to get 6 mens razors, 2 spinbrush toothbrushed, 2 deodorant, 2 fingernail polish and 1 eye shadow. I paid about 8 dollars for it all. Obviously this was for adults. Also was able to get lots of candy which I shared with all my siblings for their kids.

I have saved money by using more coupons with sales and paying in cash. I limit my trips to the store to twice a month that way there is no impulse buying.

One of my resolutions is to start being more frugal and consistent with couponing. I set up a soft flexible, plastic binder with pages of inserts (the kind of insert pages that you put your kids baseball/trading cards in) and categorize my coupons that way. It makes it a little easier and its not so bulky, I put it into a bag with my reusuable shopping bags and hang it on a hook in my kitchen so its accessible and easy to grab.I have a big family with less $$ coming into the household, so this really helps!I would so love to win this! Thanks!

We can get coupons for our local thrift stores etc. and they also advertise occassionally. My kids wanted a weight set for Christmas so we ran to the Mission Possible store mainly to look for a work out bench, and I remembered it was 75% off day. Long story short we got a $1500 4 station work out system for $18.75....
Got to watch for those sales!!!
