CLOSED Giveaway & Review! Robby Wash Ball

CONGRATS KEELEY! (#4 of 26 entries)
I was recently introduced to a revolutionary new product called the Robby Ball.

About the Robby Ball:
- 10 ounces of Robby Wash ball replaces 75 lbs. of traditional laundry detergent - environmentally friendly.
- One Robby Wash ball lasts up to 12 months. The ball itself will last 3 years.
- One Robby Wash ball will save more than $100+ over 120 washes
- One Robby Wash ball is only $32.95 and lasts one year. This includes refills.
- It is eco-friendly, hypoallergenic and safe - commonly used in Europe with baby laundry (as well as adults' laundry).
- Third party tested, proven and guaranteed to clean better than traditional powder laundry detergent.

My Review:
The Robby Wash ball was super easy to use and worked well on small loads. However, if you have a larger load you will need two Robby Wash balls, because one will not get the clothes clean. I was not able to test how well it worked on larger loads since I only reviewed one ball.

Because I would need to use two wash balls, the total yearly cost for us would be around $64. As a couponer, I know I can get a year of laundry detergent somewhat cheaper than this, but would not be as environmentally friendly.

There was no fragrance on the clothes when I used the Robby wash ball. This is great if you are sensitive to scents. I am allergic to many brand name detergents, but did not have any reaction to the Robby Wash ball.

Giveaway:
I am so excited that I have a Robby Wash ball to giveaway to one lucky reader! The winner will receive a Robby Wash ball loaded with macro-molecule pellets, a stain stick and three extra packets of macro-molecule pellets. Simply add your name and email address to this form to be entered to win.

CLOSED Giveaway! 'Rush' by Todd Buchholz!

CONGRATS Jessica (#7 of 10 entries)!

Rush: Why You Need and Love the Rat Race by Todd Buchholz, Hudson Street Press, May 5, 2011

About the Book:

"A former White House director of economic policy makes the outrageous argument that we don't really want to relax-we want to compete.

We think we will be happy when we have some downtime-when we can finally go on vacation, disconnect, shut down. But in this provocative book, Todd Buchholz will convince you that what you really want is to chase your tail-even if you never catch it.

Weaving in everything from neuroeconomics to evolutionary biology to renaissance art to General Motors, Buchholz will convince you that the race to compete has not only made us taller and smarter, it's what we love and need. Among the book's many counter-intuitive takeaways are:

* Put off retirement-it can make you stupid.
* We all need to be control freaks.
* In-house competition is actually great for morale.
* Never let the ninth place team take home a trophy.

Witty, breezy, and very funny, Todd Buchholz shows that it's the race itself that literally delivers the rush, even if we never reach the finish line.

Author, Todd Buchholz, humorously reveals the nature of human competition, exposing the links between competition, high performance, a higher standard or living, and a heightened sense of happiness."

Giveaway:
One lucky reader will win a copy of Rush by Todd Buchholz. This book currently has a five star review on Amazon, so it should be a good read. This giveaway is a little different and I am trying out a new system using Google Docs. Simply fill out your information in the form below to be entered to win. Super easy!
